Electronic Prescription Service now Available.

We are now able to send repeat and acute prescriptions electronically directly to your nominated pharmacy. This means that you know longer need to come to the surgery to pick up your repeat prescription, you can go directly to the pharmacy and pick it up from there. Please inform reception of your nominated pharmacy. 

Unfortunately we cannot accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone as this could cause errors.

On registering with Upper Halliford Medical Centre all patients are assigned a General Practitioner who is Dr. Kamil. Any queries please ask at the Reception desk.

CQC report findings

The CQC found the practice to be in need of improvement.

 

Test Results

We recommend that patients call the practice for their results within a week of us performing any tests (after 13:00 please). However, the practice will normally phone any patient with urgent or abnormal results to book an appointment in order to discuss their results.

Our reception staff are not qualified to comment on results therefore it is your responsibility to check them and make any necessary follow-up appointment with the doctor.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
